    In this Poem we find that E.E. Cummings is speaking about William Frederick Cody. He is a cowboy and a scholar. Also he was awarded the Medal of Honor for serving in the Military.

    E.E. Cummings uses vivid imagery and word play by saying the watersmooth-silver stallion. Also when he shot the pigeons who put the word phrase into one word by saying onetwothreefourfive.
